Mairéad Corr
Mairéad joined the Personal Tax Department of Grant Thornton in 2001, working predominantly with Senior Council Barristers and Judges.
When setting up BTAS in 2011, she focussed on ensuring that those she served, were comfortable with the workings of their tax while the figures were less worrying, and when the figures grew, that confidence remained. This is done by cultivating a client relationship with a barrister while their practice is in its infancy, and growing this relationship.
BTAS started with one barrister and her nine friends, now we serve a third of all barristers practicing in Ireland. Mairéad has taught Practice Management at the Kings Inns and at the Bar Council of Ireland since 2009.
Mairéad is a Chartered Tax Advisor. She completed her tax exams in 2013 and finished First in Ireland.
Mairéad is a Fellow of Institute of Certified Public Accountants in Ireland. She qualified as an accountant having worked in a small to medium-sized accountancy practice in Kinsale, Co Cork.
Eimear Bradbury
Eimear joined BTAS in 2018. She worked previously in New York in the music and creative industry.
Within BTAS, Eimear manages the Compliance and Administration operations to ensure that the information received from each client is reviewed carefully before being worked on by an accountant or tax advisor.
Eimear is dedicated to promoting the use of technology to develop systems aimed to ensure complete information is the basis of tax calculations.
Lynne Fitzpatrick
Lynne joined BTAS in 2019. She is a Chartered Tax Advisor and manages the Tax Advisory services within BTAS.
She has wide experience of working on the taxation of self employed individuals, PAYE and Capital Gains Tax for share based remuneration, succession planning with Capital Acquisitions Tax and Capital Gains Tax and Revenue Audits.
